The chapel project began in August 2006 as the largest construction effort in the University’s history. It was completed just three years later, and the first chapel service was held in September 2009. With 78,600 square feet, the building encompasses a sanctuary, banquet hall, a kitchen, the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership, classrooms, and faculty offices. Standing at 192 feet tall, the structure is the most noticeable building on campus and can be seen from miles away. CSC provided a complete JCI environmental control system, to include CO2 sensors & controls, graphic user interface and complete tie in with central plant, that CSC also provided controls for.

One of the most unique buildings in the State of Texas, this monument to diversity, humanity and the environment has no right angles or parallel lines. With endless changes and customization, CSC was quick to adjust fire and redesign the control systems as needed. Furthermore, with CO2 monitoring and integration with the Daiken VRV system, CSC’s open protocol Johnson Controls LON system, not only contributed to the LEED Silver certification, but allows for easy expansion as well.

With three Sunday services and multiple programs within the Baytown community, the Second Baptist Church of Baytown has proudly served the area for decades. CSC provided a Johnson Control DDC system with Tridium graphical interface for dozens of DX split-system A/C units, along with CO2 controlled ventilation.

Serving East Texas for almost 100 years, this iconic, 650 seat church underwent major renovations that were completed in 2013. CSC provided an Open Protocol Johnson Control System with a Tridium web based front end. Features of this system included a small central plant with CO2 controlled ventilation. This enabled a major HVAC and building automation retrofit that ensured the historic integrity of the church was left intact.

Located on a 52-acre site, this 74,000 Sq. Ft. worship facility includes a 1,500 seat sanctuary, sound booth, band & drama rooms, shop, classrooms, and administrative areas. A youth center accommodating 450 and a children's area for 400 are connected by a concourse with a small café. CSC provided a Johnson Controls DDC system that included RTUs, VAVs, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, and demand ventilation.
